The scenario
Visualize a forest ecosystem's energy flow, emphasizing the role of decomposers in recycling nutrients from detritus back into the soil to support producers.
What is in this drawing
Read the decisions behind it.
01
Include decomposers as central node connecting detritus to nutrient pool.
02
Show multiple sources of detritus (plants, herbivores, carnivores, apex predator).
03
Use cylinder node for nutrient pool to distinguish storage.
Use this template for illustrating nutrient cycling, ecosystem energy flow, or the importance of decomposers in food webs.
