The scenario
A customer pays a merchant using a stablecoin (e.g., USDC). The gateway checks the customer's balance, transfers the stablecoin, and then either settles the stablecoin directly to the merchant's wallet or converts it to fiat and deposits it in the merchant's bank account, depending on merchant preference.
