Questions about prisma flow diagram templates

What does a Prisma schema diagram show?

All models with their field types, relations (one-to-many, many-to-many), enums, and @@unique/@@index annotations — the same information as the schema.prisma file but visually.

Is this the same as an ERD?

Very similar. A Prisma diagram follows the Prisma data model conventions (including relation fields and @@relation syntax) rather than pure SQL ERD notation. It is more useful for application developers than DBAs.

Can I generate a schema from the diagram?

ChatDiagram is diagram-first. You can use the diagram as the design document and write or generate the Prisma schema from it.
