Lo scenario
Virtual machine backup traffic is isolated on a dedicated storage network, with hypervisors and a backup server accessing NAS devices directly through a distribution switch.
Cosa contiene questo disegno
Leggi le decisioni che ne stanno alla base.
01
Dedicated storage switch keeps backup traffic off the production LAN.
02
Direct NAS access from hypervisors and backup server enables LAN-free backup for virtual machines.
03
Tiered layout separates edge, core, distribution, and access layers for clarity.
Reuse this pattern for SME or enterprise VM backup designs where NAS devices share a separate storage network and direct access is required.
