情境
An FTTH GPON deployment in a 20-story multi-dwelling unit (MDU) requires an OLT in the building's equipment room and a dedicated ODP on each floor to serve residential units via fiber drops.

看懂背後的決策。
01
Model OLT as a distribution-layer l3switch and each floor's ODP as an access switch for clear hierarchy
02
Use a tree layout to show upstream internet through BRAS to OLT then fan-out to all floor ODPs
03
Represent inter-device links as fiber to reflect the passive optical distribution
Use this structure when documenting or designing fiber-to-the-home distribution in multi-story residential buildings, campuses, or any scenario needing per-floor optical distribution points.
