Cascaded and nested control loops are everywhere in real plants — an inner velocity loop inside an outer position loop, an inner current loop inside a speed loop. Textbooks (Ogata, Franklin) draw them as block diagrams with multiple summing junctions and feedback paths that cross over the forward chain.
