Nothing close enough? Start from a blank circuit diagram → Describe it in one paragraph.
How to use a circuit diagram template.
- 01Specify the battery chemistry and cell count
Example: '3-cell Li-ion pack, 12.6V full charge, 9A constant current phase, TP4056 not suitable — use dedicated 3S charger IC.' Or: '12V lead-acid battery, 3-stage charger, 10A max charge current.'
- 02AI builds the charging stage
ChatDiagram draws the power conversion topology (linear, buck, or flyback), the charge controller IC or discrete CC/CV circuit, and connects it to the battery terminals.
- 03Add protection circuitry
Ask for over-voltage protection, NTC thermistor temperature monitoring, reverse-connection protection, and a current-sense resistor for CC loop feedback. ChatDiagram inserts these into the schematic.
- 04Include cell balancing if needed
For multi-cell packs specify passive or active balancing. ChatDiagram will draw individual cell tap connections and the balancing resistors or switched circuits.
- 05Export for product design review
Download as SVG or PNG for inclusion in your hardware design specification, safety review, or patent application.
Questions about circuit diagram templates
Can ChatDiagram draw a TP4056 Li-ion single-cell charger circuit?
Yes. Mention TP4056 and the desired charge current. ChatDiagram will draw the standard application circuit with the programming resistor, protection FETs if using the TP4056-ES version, and status LEDs.
Does it support lead-acid multi-stage charging circuits?
Yes. Describe bulk, absorption, and float stages. ChatDiagram will draw the control circuit that transitions between stages and show the charge current and voltage set points.
How do I show a BMS integrated with the charger?
Describe the BMS IC (e.g., BQ29700, Daly) and its cell connections. ChatDiagram will draw the BMS between the cells and the charge port, showing protection FETs and sense lines.
Can I get a wireless charging (Qi) circuit diagram?
Yes. Describe the transmitter coil driver and receiver rectifier/regulator stage and ChatDiagram will generate the coil coupling circuit with the relevant ICs and passive components.
