The drawing

What an event layout tool is.

An event layout tool turns a venue plan into a working setup: where guests enter, where the stage and service points sit, and how tables, chairs and equipment use the available space. It makes the room plan visible before anything is moved.

Use it for the whole venue, rather than only assigning guests to seats. A seating chart handles who sits at each table; an event layout also includes the stage, bar, aisles, activity areas and operational space.
