What a RACI matrix is.
A RACI matrix is a responsibility assignment chart. R is responsible for doing the work, A is accountable for the outcome, C is consulted before a decision, and I is informed after it.
List the important activities or decisions first, then assign roles. One accountable owner per activity usually keeps decision ownership clear, while a short consulted list keeps work moving.
