What a perceptual map is.
A perceptual map shows how customers or a team perceive competing brands or products on two attributes. Each item is placed relative to the same axes, such as price and quality or camera quality and battery life.
It is useful for a positioning discussion, not a claim of precise measurement. Use customer research where possible and label the dimensions so everyone interprets the map the same way.
