What a service blueprint is.
A service blueprint is a process map that connects what a customer experiences with the employee, system and operational work that makes the service happen. It exposes handoffs across teams and the backstage steps hidden from the customer.
Unlike a customer journey map, a service blueprint includes the delivery system. It is especially useful for identifying delays, unclear ownership and recovery steps when the expected outcome is not available.
